Civil Air Patrol - Serving Educators Across America

Camarillo Squadron 61 is happy to assist educators in applying exciting teaching material and examples from aerospace to further STEM education and instill excitement and curiosity in students.  If you are looking for free aerospace/STEM lesson plans, activities, textbooks, products and programs to use in any classroom, after-school or enrichment program, we hope CAP will have something to help you!  Visit the Aerospace Curriculum Index link HERE
We encourage educators and educational institutions to join the Civil Air Patrol Aerospace Education Member (AEM) program.  This is a purely civilian oriented program (no uniforms etc. are expected of participants) and is directed at providing  enriching educational materials and experiences to K-12 educators and students.  The program even offers educators the chance of orientation flights for first-hand experience of aerospace flight principals.
Some benefits of the AEM include - Free K-12 texts; Free K-12 STEM educator kits; Free K-12 Aerospace education award program; Free teacher orientation flights; Civil Air Patrol Awardfs for educators; Local Squadron support  including speakers or class visits to squadrons.

Use this link to - Join the National AEM Program

Camarillo Squadron 61 is ready and eager to assist local K-12 educators in support of the AEM program
